This cabinet arrived without any damage and promptly. It's well made, the instructions are obvious and easy to adhere to with an assembly period of two hours for one person. It looks excellent. Those who complain that it's not actual wood - consider the specifications. It says it's not wood. For many who say the guidance are poor - I have no idea how they will make it any simpler. Each goes step by step with photographs and didn't miss one thing. For those who say it's not sturdy - tighten down all the screws. For all those that complain that the cabinet bottom level/back are light - you are correct but it wasn't meant to be a cabinet for "stuff" - it's for hanging data files. If you want a cabinet for products - buy another thing. This cabinet is accurately what it claims to get - a cabinet for hanging files. It's as good a value as anything I found in virtually any store but with a much nicer design. I recommend this product.
I bought this desk as a birthday present for my 12 year old daughter, it came right on time, the pieces were perfect without damages. The size was what I expected. needs at least 4 hours to assemble. The entire piece is pretty heavy, thus asemble it where you want to place it. overall tidy look. the bookshelf is quite practical and fits more literature than it appears too which is pleasant, the ony issue was that it took 4 time to assemble ( my husband and 12 year older assembled it). Be sure to read assembly instructions very carefuly. Overall great desk, just what my daughter needed and expected.
