This desk is ideal for the space and excellent for the purchase price we paid. This is a hefty MDF build with thin solid wood veneers. The chocolate color pictured is very, very dark and nearer to an "espresso" color. The recommendations are well-planned. The corresponding letters for the desk pieces were stamped on the unfinished edges of the parts. If you look for them, they perform correspond. I believe the only piece not labeled was the backing to the drawer/shelf side, but that piece was clear as to where it proceeded to go during assembly. It was on sale, so after tax it was around $107. With that said, had this desk been more, I don't know if I would have purchased it if it was more than $120 all-in. With all that said, I'd purchase this desk again easily ever needed an upgraded or addition!
The chair is ideal! Bigger than expected which exercised great. Its super relaxed and stylish. The stitching was perfectly done. Also very easy to assemble.
